New and Experienced Coaches Trainings, Saturday December 5
Location: Willow Creek Center, 1026 Mohr Lane, Concord
Time: New Coaches: 8:30 - 3:00, Experienced coaches: 1:00 - 3:00
What to Bring: Pen/pencil and an empty binder
Lunch: Provided at no charge!!
Books: We will be selling Odyssey practice books at our cost, bring cash or a check!

SPONTANIA MANIA REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

Spontania Mania is a wonderful opportunity for teams to practice their spont. skills by participating in about 10 spont problems in 2 hours. We will hold 2 session, 9-11 and 12-1. Plan to arrive 1/2 hour early to setup: 8:30 or 11:30. Teams must register online and each session will be limited to approximately 12 teams. Each coach must register with a spont. problem and let us know how much space is required. YOU ARE ASKED TO BRING ALL MATERIALS NEEDED TO DO YOUR SPONTANEOUS PROBLEM WITH 10-12 TEAMS IN ROTATION. TEAMS WILL ROTATE EVERY 12 MINUTES, SO PLEASE PLAN PROBLEMS THAT CAN BE COMPLETED WITHIN THIS TIME FRAME (INCLUDING CLEAN UP). YOUR TEAM WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO A VARIETY OF PROBLEMS WITH OTHER COACHES.

Cost is $10 per team. This amount should be mailed to SF Bay Odyssey of the Mind, P.O. Box 338, Alamo, Ca 94507 or brought to the Spontania Mania.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!


In this edition:
1) Tournament registration is now open
2) Judge and volunteer registration is now open
3) Time to purchase your national and state membership (if not already purchased)


TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

To register for the tournament you must have a valid 2009/2010 membership number issued by the national office.   If you do not know your membership number, consult the Odyssey of the Mind coordinator for your school or respond to this email and we will provide it to you.  If you have not yet purchased a national membership, use the link lower in this email to purchase a mebership. to register for the tournament, go to www.odysseyofthemind.com and click on the link marked: Member Area.   You will need your membership number and the correct zip code to enter the site.  Once you have signed in, click on the link marked: Team Registration. 


Proceed through the steps to register your team for the tournament.   If yo have any questions drop us an email.  Once you complete tournament registration, you will be redirected to a page where you can pay the $75 tournament fees online.  Taking care of the fees right away ensures that they are not forgotten. Tournament fees are $75 PER TEAM.

JUDGE AND VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

Each team is required to provide a judge That will work the entire tournament and a volunteer to spend two hours working at the tournament.   The judge will not be able to see your team perform, the volunteer will be able to do so.  Register your judge and volunteer here:

TIME TO PURCHASE YOUR NATIONAL AND STATE MEMBERSHIP

A number of schools have not yet purchased their national membership ($135).  You can purchase your national membership online by going here:

You can also pay your state membership ($65) per national membership by going here:

Let us know if you are using a school purchase order or need additional time to purchase your membership.   You will need a national membership number to be able to register teams for the tournament.
